1) What was your first experience in dancing salsa like?

"My first experience dancing salsa with Movers and Shakers was amazing! It was super fun from the start. Danny is an incredible teacher—he makes everything feel so easy and fun to learn, even for beginners. I’m having a blast and can’t wait to keep going on this salsa learning journey!"

2) Can you share an instance when you helped a fellow student who was struggling? What did you do, and how did it feel?

I don’t correct fellow students, but I do encourage them by complimenting what they’re doing well. I believe Movers and Shakers is meant to be a positive and supportive environment, and I want to help keep it that way by focusing on encouragement and building confidence.

3) Can you describe a time when a salsa class at the academy felt like a bonded community or family to you? What contributed to that feeling?

Movers and Shakers fosters a strong sense of community through Danny’s emphasis on creating a family-like environment. From the Friday dance practices to building the app and organizing parties outside of class, every aspect is designed to bring people together and build lasting connections. It truly feels like a supportive and tight-knit community where everyone is encouraged to grow and have fun together.

4) Imagine you have the power to instantly improve one aspect of your salsa dancing. What would you choose to enhance and why?

I want to improve my salsa dancing abilities by continuing to practice regularly and taking full advantage of the classes and resources provided. I’m excited to learn new techniques and refine my skills, and I’m committed to putting in the effort to become a more confident and skilled dancer.

I’d tell them that joining Movers and Shakers is a fantastic decision if they're looking for a supportive and fun environment to learn salsa.
