Marco Venegas
Marco took the leap into salsa lessons here in Los Angeles with a simple goal in mind: to learn how to salsa. While keeping up with the pace of classes can sometimes feel challenging, Marco has found Friday practices to be a huge help in building his skills and confidence. On the dance floor, he doesn't focus on embarrassment—instead, he embraces every moment, making it all part of the fun.
For Marco, salsa has been a confidence booster and a way to connect with others. He describes the Movers and Shakers Dance Academy community as filled with laughs and camaraderie, creating an atmosphere where everyone feels supported and encouraged.

1. What inspired you to take salsa lessons here in Los Angeles?
Wanted to learn how to salsa.
2. When you've felt like you couldn't keep up with the pace of a salsa class, what steps did you take to catch up and feel more comfortable?
Friday practices help out a lot.
3. What's the most hilarious or embarrassing moment you've experienced on the salsa dance floor or in class?
I don't think its as embarrassing, its more about embracing it.
4. In what ways has dancing salsa improved your life in general?
More confidence.
5. How would you describe the atmosphere and community at Movers and Shakers Dance Academy?
Its a lot of laughs and comradery.
