Student Spotlight:

Jorge Meza

Salsa

For Jorge, salsa dancing has been both a personal challenge and a way to build connections. His initial motivation stemmed from a desire to become a better dancer, and he appreciates how Danny’s detailed breakdowns and class recordings help him stay on track when the pace gets tough. One memorable moment happened in a park in DC, where he spontaneously danced with strangers to salsa music—it turned out to be an unforgettable experience. Beyond the fun, salsa has enriched Jorge’s life by introducing him to new people and fostering social connections. He describes the atmosphere at the studio as positive, welcoming, and filled with fun, making it the perfect environment for learning and growing.

Jorge shares his dance journey through the following interview questions.
