1. How did your interest in salsa dancing begin?

 Always wanted to learn to dance.

2. How do you deal with mistakes while learning to dance salsa? 

I ask for repetition of the example and practice with a classmate. We can always figure it out together.

3. What’s a favorite memory bonding with your classmates outside of salsa class? What made it special? 

At Blen Blen, I got to dance with my classmates and get more of a feel for their individuality, not just as students.

4. In what ways has dancing salsa improved your life in general? 

My partner and I have formed a bond by learning a new skill together.

5. How would you describe the atmosphere and community at Movers and Shakers Dance Academy? 

Exceptional. Great direction and examples. It feels like a safe, judgment-free zone to try and learn.
