Salsa Student

Looking for more fun and something new, Felicia decided to dive into salsa dancing. When the pace of class felt overwhelming, she practiced diligently and connected with classmates for extra social dancing.

Felicia has found salsa to be a joyful addition to her life. She loves the inclusive and friendly atmosphere at Movers and Shakers Dance Academy.

Felicia shares her salsa dance journey through the following interview questions.

1. What inspired you to take salsa lessons here in Los Angeles?

I wanted to try something new and have more fun!

2. When you've felt like you couldn't keep up with the pace of a salsa class, what steps did you take to catch up and feel more comfortable?

I went to practice and reached out to classmates to find out who would be interested in meeting up for social dancing.

3. What's the most hilarious or embarrassing moment you've experienced on the salsa dance floor or in class?

Hitting my partners in the face with my elbow! Luckily no one was hurt! :)

4. In what ways has dancing salsa improved your life in general?

Taking salsa classes has added more fun to my life!

5. How would you describe the atmosphere and community at Movers and Shakers Dance Academy?

Very inclusive and friendly!
