General Job Description
  • Any and all roles that support the outcomes. Includes, but not limited to:

  • Managing staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluation.

  • Overseeing timeliness of payment to instructors, studios and other outside partners

  • Developing and managing budgets, monitoring revenues, and reducing costs while maintaining a high-quality experience for our students.

  • Collaborating with DK to launch and manage programs in strategic manner

  • Developing overall efficiency of processes and systems

  • Cutting costs where possible

  • Formulate applicable policies that will serve as guideposts in the implementation of the operations of the academy

  • Operations manager is responsible for smooth day-to-day operations, helping team avoid emergencies, and handling emergencies when they occur


  • Kaizen:

  • Operations manager is always envisioning, proposing, and executing ways to improve operations and the company as a whole


 


KPI’s

  • Clearly defined staffing needs, filled those positions with winners, and trained them to succeed?

  • Brought out the best in the staff every day?

  • Did the company hit its targets?

  • Wrote at least 1 new kaizen idea weekly?

  • Executed kaizen initiatives on a weekly basis (or led staff in executing them)?

  • Deadlines consistently met? If not, quickly communicated why, changed approach and/or hired more help (with approval)?
