Nicole?

DANNY KALMAN
INTERNATIONAL INSTRUCTOR, PERFORMER, COMPETITOR, CHOREOGRAPHER Danny Kalman has trained celebrities for Dancing With the Stars and has performed, competed, choreographed and taught in the United States, Israel, and Japan. He finally settled in Los Angeles, California in 2011 to continue his career based from there. Danny loves to travel and speaks English, Spanish, Hebrew and Japanese. Danny also worked as a personal trainer for executives and professional athletes at the flagship location of Los Angeles' most high-end fitness club, Equinox. He applies his knowledge of the body gained through his education there to his own dance training and enhancing the training for his students. |

NICOLE GIL
INSTRUCTOR, PERFORMER, COMPETITOR, CHOREOGRAPHER Nicole shares her passion for salsa as a performer, competitor and instructor. She is currently the female instructor at Blue J Bar and Lounge one of LA's hottest places to dance! She has taught at LA Live's Conga Room in Downtown Los Angeles and for Santa Monica's longest running salsa club, Monsoon Cafe. She regularly provides dance lessons for private events with Lululemon Athletica, UCLA Health, Gypset Magazine and Ivy Connect Events. Nicole has performed in nearly every salsa club in LA along with performances in Salt Lake City, Las Vegas, and San Francisco. She has choreographed and danced in multiple Latin music videos, but derives most of her joy sharing her love for Salsa and Bachata through teaching. |

WHAT AM I GOING TO LEARN?
Enough to get you on the dance floor with confidence! You'll learn the comprehensive foundations of salsa in a proper and structured way. Every class builds on the previous class with great attention to details and plenty of time for review. WHAT IF I MISS A CLASS? A recording of the live session will be available for 7 days. After that it's gone! This is designed to help you stay accountable and on track. WHAT'S THE SCHEDULE? Six classes. Sundays from 12:00-1:30pm Pacific Time (1-2:30 Mountain; 2-3:30 Central; 3-4:30 Eastern). July 9, 2017-Aug 13, 2017. DO I NEED A PARTNER? Yes. You're welcome to either split the cost of the enrollment or invite them to dance with you as a gift! (No more than two people please. HOW CAN I FIND A PARTNER? Top places to look: • Family • Friends • Co-workers • Danny & Nicole. We may be able to match you with somebody else in your area! Email us and let us know your name, area, and gender and we’ll see what we can do! DO I NEED A MIRROR? No. You're welcome to use one if it's available but this is NOT mandatory. The only time in which we may be focused on the mirror is in the beginning of class when we do solo footwork. Other than that, everybody's focus is on themselves, their partners, and Danny & Nicole. CAN I REALLY LEARN VIRTUALLY WITHOUT BEING IN A STUDIO? Yes! We will lead you through everything in great detail step by step and drill together. Since the focus of the camera is on us, it will be as if you're in the front row of a classroom. You'll also be able to ask questions as we go! WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THIS AND PRE-RECORDED VIDEOS ONLINE? • Your questions will be answered on the spot so that we can clarify and explain things in as many ways as needed for you to get it. • You'll be held accountable in order to stay on track. Science shows that entering a pre-paid program with a set weekly schedule often makes all the difference between the never ending “yeah I’ll do it soon” and “look what I’ve just accomplished!” • You’ll have weekly homework assignments and quizzes to help you fully understand the material. • You enter into a community of other dance students and will help each other with learning and holding each other accountable. WHY DOES THIS COST MONEY? • Everybody’s gotta eat! Danny & Nicole are true professionals who have dedicated their lives to their own dance training across myriad genres of dance both domestically and internationally. Payment for classes is how they survive in order to bring their hearts and experience to you. • Payment supports your learning - the data shows that we, as humans, are much more likely to follow through with learning endeavors that we have paid for! WHERE CAN I USE WHAT I LEARN? You can seek local salsa dancing socials in your area. If there are none, you might consider starting one! We can help you connect with others in your area who have also taken the program! HOW FAST DOES MY INTERNET NEED TO BE? Any DSL or Cable connection is generally sufficient. CAN I LEARN FROM MY PHONE? Sure! You may benefit from the larger screen of a computer but it's up to you! WHAT IF I HAVE TWO LEFT FEET? You're in the right spot. We specialize in changing that, guaranteed. CAN I ASK QUESTIONS DURING CLASS? Yes! You can ask during class via text or by turning your video on. Usually many people have the same questions so we will answer them and practice them together with the group as a whole. WHAT DO I GET WITH MY PROGRAM? • 9 hours of live training with Danny & Nicole • Ability to ask questions during class • Recordings of class for up to 7 days afterwards • An accountability partner to help you stay on track • Weekly homework assignments and written quizzes to help you check your movements and fully absorb the material • Private Facebook group membership with other students to encourage, network, and inspire each other. |
